10' x 12' x 24'

The Search has a year long residency at The Luminary Arts Center in St. Louis as part of Speculative Spaces::Working Theses—a wide-ranging group exhibition featuring artists, architects and collectives that each approach how prompts, speculations, restrictions, rules and hypotheses reconstruct our understanding of space and how one interacts with it. Artists include James Bridle, High Desert Test Sites, ifau and Jesko Fezer, Jason Lazarus, M12, Metahaven, Nikolaj Recke and Jesse Vogler. Speculative Spaces is the first in a year-long series of exhibitions considering the concept of Sporadic Democracy.

The November 24th verdict in the Ferguson case has added urgency to the upcoming curation (winter 2014/spring 2015) of The Search by US English — they will create private and public programming investigating human rights violations in Ferguson, MO and how law is enacted publicly and privately. Check in for details as they develop at The Luminary website.
